A 28 year-old Chinese housewife came to your clinic complaining of a gum swelling distal to her lower right second molar which was gradually growing in size over the past several months. The lesion bled on trauma from brushing and eating. On examination, you found a purplish red soft tissue swelling of size 2cm x 1.5cm. The right lower wisdom tooth is clinically absent

Describe your management of this patient covering investigations, differential diagnosis and treatment options.
