previously, tHis time of the year, i will be at my busiest state. will hAve tonnes of things to do. got to do Planning of schedules and work overtime. been like that for a long while. but this time, i am on leave. basically i do not have to do anything at this Period. and it is a long leave to be exact. so long that it seems to me that it is so wrong that i don't do anYthing at all. =X But i think it is really the time to take the leave coz simply, "what is meant to be, will be." tImes have changed. it is no longeR the same as before now. iT is time to get into a new phase of life, and by dwelling on the past will meant becoming stagnant, and soon obsolete. even my computers Have been updated ever so often to try to keep up with the demands of the information technology era. however, some parts are easily to upgraDe, while some others take time and effort to try to troubleshoot so it can fit and be integrated with the system. whereAs some are just not upgradeable. i have been trYing to install a second os on my laptop, but it is giving me so much trouble. maybe it is telling me not to do it, it does not want to have it. so by insisting, will i cause more harm to my laptop?
I am on leave for the whole of this month. Mostly spending a lot of time at home to tie up the loose ends that have been accumulating in my room for the past few months. Also, catching up on my games, trying to complete them so I can move on to the next one. Currently playing Fallout 3. The game can be so taxing. Been playing for weeks and I am no way near completing it. All the other FPS took me like days and the DVD rom will be sitting on my shelf collecting dust. It's rare to find games that can last me for so long. Apparently it won Game of the Year 2009. WOOT!!! Super mutants, don't run! I am your friend!!! PHEW PHEW!!! Wahahaha!!!
Been in the workforce for so long. But it seems I had never taken a holiday to go enjoy myself. So you ask me why not do it now since I got so much time to spare??? Well, I looked into my piggy bank and all I saw was a few miserable coins. Haiz... I have a sound system, huge TV, gaming console, media box... Guess I will be spending my `holiday' in my little cozy room of mine afterall. Nowhere to run to for now.
The current contract will be up REAL soon. Got to start looking for place to earn my meals soon. Anyone want to hire a videographer??? Heehee... Or a chef, maybe a cook in the kopitam stall??? Cashier also can. Anyone need to hire maid???
Just recently spoken to JM, she envy my leave. Well, I envy that she is studying for her Masters. At least she is getting to where she wants. I am just slacking at home, looking at this 22" LCD the whole day. She was wanting to come home for visit, kind of miss the food here she says. =) Told her to come back, but she mentioned that it would be quite difficult. Haiz, miss the time when we can go `pig' ourself out. Chat from morning to night. Hope she can make it back soon.
Someone came and ask me on advice on some topic that to me, I myself am still searching for the answer. So how do I give any constructive opinions at all??? Many things in this world, we can learn in school. Language, Maths, Science... We spend more than half our youth in school, learning so many things. But when we enter adulthood, it seems that there are so many things we were never taught in school and can never be learnt through books. We just have to go through it and try to make it out alive. `Got to hit the wall', what some people will say. But you hit too many times ah, the skull don't break also got big `orh-ceh' lah. You keep hitting that wall, trying so hard to knock it down. But you don't realise that behind that wall, it has so much structure to reinforce it. Coz your vision is blocked by the wall. Only if we see the wall from the side, then we will realise the problem. But then when you are in a situation, it is difficult to look at things in that perspective. Yes, it is true that we can ask people to enlighten us on the situation. But it all comes back onto whether we can visualise it at their perspective, while being clouded by the wall in front of us. Sometimes I just wish they teach `other things' when we were in school so that we can apply that once we enter the phases of our life. Make things so much easier. But then, Life is never easy...
